I recently stayed with Donna and David. They are an amazing couple, nothing is too much of a problem and I did some really fun projects with them!! The WWOOF accommodation is really nice, this was my first WWOOFing experience and they have made it a really good one!!! This place is definatly worth a visit.

The hospitality shown by David and Donna went beyond anything I could have ever expected from woofing. Their willingness to share their beautiful home, accommodate needs, exchange stories and spend time together made staying at their home a highlight of my five months in NZ. They are kind, honest, hard workers, and all around wonderful people. Franki and Jessi, the amazing dogs, are so much fun to play with and I miss them as well! The house itself is incredible and has jaw dropping views. There is not a garden, but they do have lovely, peaceful property with a lemon tree among other wonderful vegetation and lots of native birds that is a pleasure to work on. The home is a stunning 15 min jog to the beach, which is the perfect addition to any day. I could ramble on and on about what an honor it was to stay with such lovely people, but I will simply end with a thank you- the whole experience was an immense blessing.

"Fair, Kind, and Interesting Folks"
I worked at a A Sleeping Dragon for 4 weeks and enjoyed every minute! David and Donna are kind and caring hosts, to me they have become like family. The property is a beautiful place and allows a lot of time and space for personal reflections and thoughts. It isn’t a farm but the work is mostly all outdoors in the fresh air. Sometimes one can feel a little isolated as much of the time is spent alone, Jesse and Frankie are great mates though so if you’re a dog person you’ll like it here for sure.
