Thank you for everything ! We stayed for a month to the sleepindragon and enjoyed every seconds. It was a wonderful time and a blessing to share this house with Donna and David which are two amazing being full of kindness and generosity. Donna shared with us a lot of her enormous Knowledge that helped us to understand more of New-Zealand History and life or simply life. We loved the freedom we had with the building of the yoga platform and the fireplace, and hope we helped to materialize this project she foreseen 14 years ago. There's more to say about the sleepindragon but it's more of a journey that you have to take and leave a living legacy. We share this adventure with three amazing wwoofer, Alessandro, Karsten and Christine and we hope to see them again wherever it will be! We hope to come again and give something more to the sleepindragon!..and fish more snappers! Cheers! p.s: Yes we think of you Frankie and Jesse p.p.s: Purr purr Isha?

"I FELT LIKE AT HOME AND ENJOYED EVERY DAY!!!"
David and Donna are 2 fantastic kiwis and didn't saw me as a Wwofer but rather as Family member and i felt from the first meeting like at home. Donna knows everything about the Maori History and about her beautiful Region Bay of Plenty. I will miss her 2 cute dogs Franky and Jessy which loves to play with balls. I will miss breakfast in the morning with the amazing outlook at the sea, the hole familiar atmosphere and the Big Bang evenings :D . It was an pleasure to cook for you and be a part of an amazing project which we (french, candien, italien wwofer) finished. It was never boring and there were many funny moments. I stayed more than 3 weeks and will miss every day. It was an amazing time and can only recommend those great kiwis. I spent 3 weeks with David and Donna. They're super lovely, generous and kind. I really enjoyed hanging out with them. Their two dogs, Franky and Jess were also pretty cool. "The place to be when you need to figure out where to go"
I was lucky enough to spend two months at the Sleeping Dragon and I had a wonderful time! Donna and David are delightful (and funny!) hosts, always there to help you out if you need anything and they surely know how to make you feel at home. The Dragon is the perfect place to reconnect with Nature and with your inner-self, thanks to the breath taking location but also to the facilities (art/yoga studio outside the house, meditation garden, sun room - ideal to read, private bedroom and bathroom etc.) I will never find the words to thank Donna and David enough for this unforgettable experience!

Dear Donna and David! Finally we are writing your reference. :) herewith we want to tell you and all the other wwoofers what an amazing time we had with you! we miss it very much! in the five weeks (that went by far too quickly!) we spent with you, we had a big project: establishing raised beds! :) it was such an interesting job full of variety: weeding the area, chopping all the concrete off the bricks, building the beds, filling soil into them and finally planting loooots of vegetables. we learned so much while doing all that.. an other task was to play with the lovely (!) dogs or to cook the evening meals, yumm. :) we really have to say that it was an experience we will never forget as donna and david are so welcoming and friendly. we immediately felt as a part of the gardner family, which is wonderful! so many great conversations and good laughs.. one really feels that both of them love having wwoofers and want to share culture with other people, which is very life-enhancing. all in all did we have an unforgettable time and we can not describe how much we felt at ease with donna and david! we want to thank you very much for the great time, and we are really looking forward to seeing you, franky and jess again!! :) all the best, marcel and laura
